Hutto Pack 912 offers a range of exciting activities for boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade, promoting teamwork and character development.

Scouting focuses on character-building, leadership, community service, learning, and, most of all… fun!

Each year, we do multiple campouts, a lock-in (e.g., NASA), fishing, biking, hiking, and more! Check out our website to see our calendar and activities for the year!

Cost Information

National Dues: $85/year (paid when registering)

2025 Pack Dues: $215/year (paid to pack)

We strive to make scouting affordable to everyone. All dues can be covered by our popcorn fundraiser run from October to November, and we also have a library of uniforms and camping equipment that can be borrowed.

Pack dues cover pack t-shirt, neckerchief, pinewood derby car, awards, meals on the overnight campouts (for the entire family), pack trailer, insurance, and training.

Scouts will also need a uniform (~$100), handbook (~$24), and camping equipment. Scouting items can be purchased at the Capital Area Council Scout Shop or online.
